MT Metsä’s online presence covers the forestry content of Maaseudun Tulevaisuus and the online content of Aarre magazine.

Additionally, Koneviesti.fi complements the content of MT Metsä. It provides comprehensive news coverage on industrial perspectives, timber trade, forest management, and environmental issues related to forests.

The MT.FI website is Finland’s most popular online platform for publishing content related to agriculture and forestry. It attracts nearly 420,000 unique visitors from across the country on a weekly basis (Source: GA4 2023). Some of the advertising spaces on MT.FI can be targeted to the MT.FI Forest section, which is the most popular section of the MT.FI website. The MT Metsä section has approximately 200,000 weekly visitors (Source: GA4 2023).

All prices are subject to value-added tax (VAT). For MT.FI/metsa section, an additional section targeting fee of +15% will be added to the prices.

Outstream video advertising

Outstream, or article videos, are displayed regardless of the device alongside article content, separated by ad text. The video starts automatically on the consumer’s screen without sound and stops if the user continues scrolling past the video ad. After the ad ends, the video stops in a “Watch again” state, after which it can be restarted.

Online materials should be submitted in image (jpg, png, gif) or HTML5 format. Images should use RGB colors. Animated materials are allowed, and they can include sound effects, provided they are activated only when the user clicks on the ad. It is recommended to create animated or interactive materials in HTML5 format (see HTML5 material guidelines).

Digital materials should be sent to the email address verkkoaineistot@viestimedia.fi.

Material delivery

Send materials under 10 MB at least three days before the campaign starts to the address verkkoaineistot@viestimedia.fi. Materials larger than 10 MB must be delivered via the Owncloud material service. To transfer ad material, you will need a link, which you can request by email at verkkoaineistot@viestimedia.fi or by phone at 020 413 2471.

All materials and possible tracking pixels must be compatible with HTTPS. Remember to provide the URL to which the ad will be linked along with the material. Avoid using special characters and umlauts in the link’s address. Encoding may not work properly when the material passes through multiple systems. To collect information about clicks, ensure that the clickTAG is correctly implemented. We recommend testing the functionality of the material in advance on the most common browsers.

Include the advertiser’s name and contact information, campaign period, and ad format in your message.
