Suomalainen Maaseutu is a national professional magazine published 12 times a year as a supplement in the Maaseudun Tulevaisuus newspaper. It focuses on rural people, rural entrepreneurship, and machinery contracting and trade. The down-to-earth storytelling about Finnish agricultural entrepreneurs, enriched with a diverse range of marketing messages from industry entrepreneurs, makes many readers study the magazine carefully and return to it several times a month until the new issue is published. Suomelainen Maaseutu serves and activates its readers and is, according to research, one of the leading agricultural publications. The magazine’s articles can also be read on the MT.FI website, or as a digital edition.

Finished material:
- PDF is the recommended format
- aspect ratio 1:1
- print area width 255 mm, height 370 mm
- fonts must be embedded in the PDF file
- print-ready PDF’s must not contain colour profiles
- colour profile for images (CMYK): KSLM_IFRA26v5
Profile can be downloaded from: www.lehtisepat.fi/aineisto-ohjeet - image resolution at least 200 dpi
- PDF file name should include the advertiser’s name and publication date. Include advertiser’s contact information in the message.
- no bleeds
For materials, we recommend using OpenType fonts, preferably Adobe FontFolio font cuts or Adobe Fonts fonts. All fonts used must be included in PDF materials. If you have any questions, please inquire at ilmoitus@mt.fi.
Ad production instructions:
- Logos: Please provide logos primarily as vectors in PDF format. If you use JPG or PNG format, make sure the resolution is sufficient for the desired size (at least 200 dpi).
- Colours and layout: You can provide instructions or wishes regarding colours and layout. Please mention in particular, if you are using a company color palette or style guide.
- Texts: Submit the texts for the ad in written form.
- Images: Please submit images in good enough quality (at least 200 dpi). For larger announcements, higher resolution images are required.
Ad production includes 2 rounds of proofing. Additional rounds will be charged according to the price list.
